September 2019 TBR

For the month of September TBR, I am going to not have set TBR this month because I am not sure how much reading I will be able to do due to September is a really busy month at work but I do have several ARCs I have to read for blog tours. The following are some books that I want to read this month aside from the ARCs.

  • Tiger Queen by Annie Sullivan (FFBC Blog Tour)
  • Realm of Knights by Jennifer Anne Davis (Good Choice Reading Blog Tour)
  • #murdertrending and #murderfunding by Gretchen McNeil (TBR and Beyond Group Read)
  • Godsgrave by Jay Kristoff
  • Undead Girl Gang by Lily Anderson (Dragon & Tea Book Club Buddy Read)
  • Capturing the Devil by Kerri Maniscalco
  • Crier’s War by Nina Varela (FFBC Blog Tour)

I definitely need the ARCs read for the blog tours and I really wanting to read Capturing the Devil, it is my most anticipated release for September.

July 2019 TBR

Finally had time to post my July TBR. This month I am doing reading challenge by TBR & Beyond Book Club (check link if you want to join in the fun). This month game is Beach Book Book board game. The game runs until the end of August so gives more time to finish up books from the rolls.

After rolling the dice, my prompts are below.

I am also trying to catch up on reading some ARCs that I received. I am reading Swipe Right for Murder by Derek Milman which released date is August 6.

Also TBR and Beyond Book Club two books for this month for group reads and author live chat are When Summer Ends by Jessica Pennington and Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson.

What is on your TBR for the month?

May TBR

Finally posting my May TBR, it has been a hectic and stressful week at work so I haven’t had the time to post about my TBR for May.

This time around I am not going to over the top with my TBR. Definitely reading three middle grade books this month because TBR and Beyond Book Club theme for the May is middle grade. We are having a middle grade challenge, if you want to join in the fun head over to our Facebook here.

The only middle grade books that I have read are the Harry Potter series so I am looking forward to reading these three and see how I like them.

The other books on my TBR carts are ones that I am hoping to get too this month.

What is on your TBR list for this month? What are you looking forward to reading?

Happy reading!

April 2019 TBR

Hello Everyone!

It is April and below is my TBR for the month. I am hoping to read most of these books and if not then I will roll over the ones that I did not finish into May TBR. I am doing several challenges this month. I am doing Reading Rivalry challenge, the theme for April is Jokesters & Tricksters! Sounds like lots fun, should check out the Reading Rivalry Facebook group if you are interested in fun reading challenges!

Another reading challenge I am doing is Dark Fantasy Match game by TBR & Beyond Book Club (check link if you want to join in the fun).

This month’s game is different. You MUST pick TWO cards to make a match (any two cards) and find a book with BOTH those themes in them and, of course, read the book. That will give you a match! I am excited for this challenge, I love dark fantasy books and I know this will definitely get me out of my reading slump. TBETTDark Fantasy Challenge

My April TBR cart for both challenges!

What is on your TBR for the month? Are you reading any good dark fantasy that you would recommend?

Happy reading!

February 2019 TBR

It’s a new month, means gathering up books for TBR for February and putting them into my TBR cart. Unfortunately, I did not meet my reading goal for January but I am going to try to do better this month .

This month I decided to participate in some reading challenges with my participating in the group reads in TBR and Beyond Book Club.

Challenges I am doing this month are:

The first challenge is from Reading Rivalry called Iconic Couples (this is the first time I am doing this challenge). The following are the criteria for the challenge:

  • Author Highlight (Colleen Hoover, Jay Kristoff, Sabaa Tahir)
  • Love Triangle
  • Book that you think should be a movie
  • Book featuring a person of color
  • A Satire
  • A book recommended by a celebrity you admire
  • A Red/Pink spine
  • A book inspired by Asian mythology, legend, or folklore
  • A book you wouldn’t normally pickup

A book set in High School

I have chosen the books for this challenge and they are on my cart.

The second challenge is from TBR and Beyond Book Club is the monthly challenge called When Royalty Comes To Play. February - When Royalty Comes To Play

I chosen two ropes this time around, I chose the Snow Queen and Faerie Queen.

The books I chosen for Snow Queen rope:

And the books I chosen for Faerie Queen rope:

Also, I had one of the admins from TBR and Beyond Book Club to pick out two books to be included into my February TBR. I am going to be reading following:

The TBR and Beyond Group reads that I am participating in this month are The Gilded Wolves and White Stag.

That is it! I am hoping that I will get all of these read this month, majority of them are being used in both challenges this month so I should be able to get some of the completed.

Are any of these books on your February TBR? Are you doing any reading challenges to help reach your reading goal for the month? I would love to hear what your reading plans are for this month.
